Vision

To be an ecumenical, evangelical, and contextual theological education institution in preparing theologians with integrity to meet the needs and challenges of the church and pluralistic society.

Missions

  1. Provide higher education in the field of philosophy of divinity (theology) and religious studies in synergy with other disciplines.
  2. Conduct innovative and impactful theological and religious research for the benefit of society.
  3. Implement sustainable church and community empowerment programs with an environmental perspective.
  4. Engage in advocacy and social and environmental negotiations inspired by the ideals of peace, justice, and the integrity of creation.

Goals

  1. Produce graduates at the undergraduate and graduate levels—specializing in Biblical Studies, Public Theology, Practical Theology, Pastoral Ministry, and Conflict and Peace Studies—who are competent, have integrity, and are highly dedicated to their field and society in their context.
  2. Generate innovative, interdisciplinary research that addresses contextual issues.
  3. Create educational and holistic community and church service contributions.
  4. Engage in advocacy for marginalized individuals and other forms of creation.
